Born in Canada, Jeff Brown did all the things he was supposed to do to become successful in the eyes of the world. He was on the Dean’s Honor List as an undergraduate. He won the Law and Medicine prize in law school. He apprenticed with famous criminal lawyer, Eddie Greenspan. It had been Jeff’s lifelong dream to practice criminal law and search for the truth in the courtroom.

But then, on the verge of opening a law practice, he heard a little voice inside telling him to stop, just stop. With great difficulty, he honored this voice and began a heartfelt quest for the truth that lived within him. Although he didn’t realize it then, he was actually questing for his innate image, the essential being that he came into this lifetime to embody. He was searching for his authentic face.

Soulshaping presents a new and distinctly human paradigm for expanding our consciousness: Ascending with both feet on the ground. This paradigm is rooted in the reality of our daily lives, and makes no distinction between our spiritual quest and our emotional life. Our feelings, our unresolved issues and life experiences, are the grist for the soul mill that takes us higher. Rather than looking for the answers outside of ourselves, we choose to look inside, in our often ignored bodies of wisdom.

At times funny, at times profound, Soulshaping will meet you where you live and where you long to live. It is a vulnerable, grounded, original, and beautifully written account of the inner treasure hunt that awaits us all, if we so choose. A journey of courageous self-creation, it is for anyone who has heard a whisper of something truer calling out to them amid the distractions of modern life. It is for anyone getting ready to take flight who needs an inspired push.

Deborah King is a contemporary master healer and recognized expert in the health & wellness field. She was a successful attorney in her twenties when a diagnosis of cancer sent her on a search for truth that radically changed her life. Unwilling to undergo invasive surgery, she turned to alternative medicine and had an amazing remission at the hands of a healer. Along the way, she conquered her addictions to alcohol and drugs that she had used to bury her abusive childhood. Leaving the corporate arena for the mysterious world of healers, sages, and shamans, she mastered ancient and modern healing systems and developed a powerful technique of her own.

Combining her personal history and deep wisdom, Deborah wrote a national bestselling book, Truth Heals: What You Hide Can Hurt You (Hay House 2009), which explores the powerful relationship between the suppression of painful emotions and their impact on our health and happiness.

Deborah travels widely, working with thousands of people in experiential workshops, bringing about personal transformations and healing.

Deborah is featured regularly in broadcast, online, and print media, making frequent appearances on national TV, including CNN, Fox News, ABC, and NBC, and is a featured blogger for Psychology Today and the Huffington Post. She has been quoted in such diverse media as USA Today, The Newark Star-Ledger, W Magazine, Fox News, and ABC News.

Jesus, Moses, the Buddha, and other great teachers were born with brains built essentially like anyone else’s. Then they used their minds to change their brains in ways that changed history.

With a Foreword by Daniel Siegel, M.D. and a Preface by Jack Kornfield, Ph.D., Buddha’s Brain joins the forces of modern science with ancient teachings to show readers how to have greater emotional balance in turbulent times, as well as healthier relationships, more effective actions, and a deeper religious or spiritual practice. The book shows readers many effective ways to light up the brain circuits that relieve worry and stress, and promote positive relationships and inner peace.

Sarah Maria is a respected body-image expert who impassions people to love their bodies no matter how they look. Through her speeches, coaching programs and her new best-selling book Love Your Body, Love Your Life, Maria is showing women how to break people free from their Negative Body Obsession (NBO) and adore themselves, regardless of what the package looks like. The quest to eliminate NBO is the core of her acclaimed book. Maria shows women and men how to break free from their Negative Body Obsession and adore themselves, regardless of what the package looks like.

Maria’s mission is to create a world where every person sees the beauty in themselves and in others. Her passion grew out of her own 15-year struggle with body hatred and the obsession to stay thin. Despite her academic achievements, her NBO persisted. That’s when Maria began the long journey of self-discovery that led through the gateway of self-love and acceptance. She uncovered an empowering roadmap that she has distilled into the contents of her book. Love Your Body, Love Your Life outlines a powerful five-step process designed to help people break free from Negative Body Obsession and discover the beauty already inside of them.

“Read this book and you will discover that there is only one beauty, and you are that,” — Deepak Chopra.

Having trained with well-known spiritual teachers and physicians, including Deepak Chopra, Dr. David Simon, co-founder of the Chopra Center for Well-being in Carlsbad, CA, Wayne Dyer, and Jack Canfield, among others, Maria brings both a mainstream practicality and a spiritual inspiration to her programs, her book and her mentoring. She is a Chopra-Center Certified Meditation instructor and an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor.

In addition to her extensive training in health, personal growth, and spirituality, Maria has a long and remarkable academic career. Prior to embarking on her career as a body-image expert, she received a law degree from Stanford University and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University. She lived and worked in Latin America, focusing on economic development through small business assistance.

Sarah Maria now lives in Carlsbad, CA. For more information, go to www.breakfreebeauty.com

Tune in LIVE on December 16th at 2 pm EST.

Weight Loss Artist*, Janice Taylor, most certainly did not wake one morning with a smile on her face and enthusiastically say, “Whoopee, I’m fatter than ever. I’ll go on a diet. This will be fun!”

No. She rolled out of bed, pulled up her size XXL elastic-band pants and said, “Oh my, even these are tight. I must stop the fat monster from further multiplying before HE takes me over entirely.” She prayed for guidance.

That’s when Our Lady of Weight Loss entered the picture. “Who is Our Lady? Where did she come from?” you ask. Janice wonders as well, “Is Our Lady a higher-power, the higher-self, the ‘good’ Mother that lives within each of us, or is she just a fig newton of my wild imagination? Does it really matter?”

What matters is that instead of eating crazy amounts of fried foods, heavily buttered bread and chocolate in any form, Janice was able to permanently remove over 50 pounds of excess weight 5 years ago.

“I exchanged fat for art,” she explains. “Our Lady guides me and ‘feeds’ me messages, and I illustrate them. At first, I created the art just for myself, but soon friends and acquaintances wanted to know the secret to my oh-so-fabulous success.”

Our Lady of Weight Loss instructed Janice to write and illustrate a book. Our Lady of Weight Loss: Miraculous and Motivational Musings from the Patron Saint of Permanent Fat Removal - is divinely delicious. A five-course meal consisting of Motivational Musings, faToids, Righteous Recipes, Chewing the Fat (letters to Our Lady) and Weighty Confessions (forgiveness guaranteed!).

Janice wants you to know that “She’s not MY Lady of Weight Loss. She’s OUR Lady of Weight Loss. She’s here for all of us!”

O, the Oprah Magazine deemed Janice a “kooky genius,” and further suggested that Janice’s “idiosyncratic diet plan may work for you.” True enough!

*What is a Weight Loss Artist™??? You ask? A Weight Loss Artist is someone who makes art about food instead of eating it and loses weight in the process.

David Simon, M.D. is a world-renowned authority in the field of mind-body medicine. As a practicing physician, innovative researcher, and insightful teacher, David continues to expand his vision for an effective and compassionate healthcare system. More than three decades ago as an anthropology student exploring humanity’s earliest communities and cultures, he was drawn to the understanding that the role of the doctor was much more than a disease technician; a true healer had to be a diagnostician, medicine man, psychotherapist, and priest – an expert navigator of the mind and spirit as well as the physical body.

Integrating ancient wisdom healing traditions with modern scientific principles, David has forged a model of health that integrates the multiple dimensions of a human being – environmental, physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. As a board-certified neurologist and expert in Ayurvedic medicine and other traditional healing arts, he brings a unique perspective to the relationship between mind, emotions, and health.
